You all know how much I LOVE shoes, and I guess it’s like mother like daughter because when I surprised my girls with these brand spanking new shoes from Stride Rite, they were besides themselves. They were supposed to wait for Christmas, but I just couldn’t wait either.
Stride Rite is a name synonymous with quality. This company defines legacy when it comes to shoes and it was so fun to pop in Stride Rite last week and see so many parents in the store getting their first child fitted for the perfect shoes. It brought back so many memories, but some nostalgic ones as well as I know our children have nearly all outgrown those sizes. I’m cherishing fitting the last two in these wonderful shoes.
Stride Rite sent our oldest daughter this shimmery sparkling Mary Jane style by Jessica Simpson, and she is loving them.
Our youngest daughter needed some classic black shoes that can be for a dressier occasion or with jeans. These definitely meet both criteria and them some. (With her style anything goes. I do believe she had a bathing suit with them on sometime this week. ;))

The shoes would be for my daughter Gabrielle. She has Lipomyelomeningocele, Tethered Spinal Cord, Neurogenic Bladder and Bowel. She wears braces on both legs. It is really difficult to find shoes that will fit over her braces. Thankfully Stride Rite shoes come in widths that fit her.

Love Stride Rite! I am unsure who would receive the shoes as I have two beauty queens at my house! They als both need new shoes…would be a tough call. I would likely just buy an extra pair so they could both have a pair!!

I am a Stride Rite FANATIC!!! My girls both go to a small Christian school where the dress code states “dressy” shoes only. It is getting harder and harder to find that type of shoe that does not have a WAAAAY to high heel for play ground use. Stride Rite always comes through with several to choose from that have NO heel to speak of and great soles for playing in too!! I just wish they weren’t so expensive!! This would be great for when the shoes they got in August wear out!!
