As I wrote 31 Days to Balancing Beauty and the Budget, I shared about the spirit of entrepreneurship and desiring to “write my own song.”
Surrounding myself with verses and verbal reminders to see things differently and keep pressing on, even when I continually question myself, affirms my craziness. 🙂
Yes, crazy enough to think we can change the world, whether it’s in business, ministry, parenting for a generational legacy, or maybe with a next store neighbor in need of encouragement.
So here’s to the CRAZY ONES: the Risk Takers, the ones who change the world.
Amen!! I’ve always been the crazy one in my family. 😉 Different, walking to the beat of my own drum. ♥
I may not make a huge stamp on the world as a whole, but I can make a difference for one minute, to one person, who in turn can make a difference to someone else down the road. That is worth it to me.
This subject always reminds me of a quote I read some 30 odd years ago in a romance novel. The damsel was attempting to do something unimaginable and was being told it was impossible.. and she with the wisdom & tenacity of purpose said, “And how impossible do you think it is? As impossible as eating a whole bear by myself?” to which the reply was, “yes, as impossible as that.” She replied.. “I can do it.” And he replied, “how could you possibly eat a whole bear by yourself?” She replied, “One bite at a time.”
Gotta love a good wisdom filled romance novel. 😉
I love this post….especially since I am one of the crazy ones..thanks for the encouragement this morning. I needed to hear it….
