Not only is it a true privilege to assist in leading worship on Sundays, but it’s my desire to proclaim His goodness. For me, I love sharing that through music.
(If receiving this by email, click over to my site, to see/hear the music while you go about your day.)
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
I used to help lead worship too and really enjoyed it! There’s nothing like helping bring the body into a place of worship.
so cool! do you guys always have your music memorized? love that you all aren’t glued to a sheet of music…do you help w/the music each week…or are you guys on a rotation? thank you so much for posting this.
@Deb, Yes, we rotate. I only sing 1-2 a month. Some of the songs we have memorized, but we have the words (not music) on a monitor…which if we’re fortunate, we can see. 🙂
This will be a real upgrade for us.
I’ve been receiving your emails for a couple of months now and I love them. I have used recipes and several of your ideas and my family is benefiting from them too : ) I had no idea you went to Westover. We do too. I’d love to meet you some Sunday. I love the worship, that coupled with the teaching of Pastor Don is just what our family needed. Thanks for all you do. Keep singing!!
@Marysia, That’s fun! Yep, that was me singing last week. 🙂 I’d love to meet you…you can always find me after the service when I sing.
What an absolute privilege to worship our King. So thankful to have our Savior in common. (I’m an alto and used to lead worship pre-quads, so I’m glad we share that too!)
