Tasty Tuesday Parade of Foods

Jun29

TastyTuesday300pix Tasty Tuesday Parade of Foods

I’ve been having so much fun being inspired by all the wonderful ideas on what you all love to grill from yesterday’s GIRLS GRILL TOO Weber grill giveaway post, that I thought I would continue on with that theme. (That and the fact that I have spent eight hours staining my deck in the 100 degree NC heat, but that’s another story.)

I’ve been reading up a LOT on the amazing flavor that comes along with charcoal grilling, and I’ll be compiling all these great grill tips and ideas from you all into a later post.

Link up today for Tasty Tuesday, but then go to my Girls Grill Too post and enter to win Weber’s One Touch Silver Charcoal Grill by leaving your great grilling tips.

Simple Rules for Tasty Tuesday Parade of Foods – If you’re joining in with a recipe link, two simple requests. As always,  Please link directly to your recipe post and not your blog URL, so that everyone can find the recipe months from now.

Also, link back here so that everyone can join in the fun. MANY OF YOU ARE NOT linking back, and it’s just common courtesy of blog carnivals.

Don’t forget to support your fellow bloggers by checking out some of their amazing recipes…be inspired by others.

I’m posting something which I think is pretty unique this week as I don’t think too many people are familiar with kohlrabi. Hopefully some people will try it as something new. Thanks for posting.

  5. Thanks for hosting. I have finally perfected my grilled chicken. I used to dry it out like the sahara. We love summer grilling.

I would love to learn how to grill. I usually leave it up to dh, so he can have a part in cooking the meal occasionally. :D

    Thank you for hosting!

    Hi Jennifer :-)
We use to go camping a lot when our “boys” were young, and I often cooked all of our meals over a wood fireplace. Pancakes and bacon one morning, slow cooked country style BBQ ribs one evening… good and also yummy memories! My husband always worked two jobs, so when we were camping, it was “daddy time”. He LOVED building sand castles, and letting all four young boys tackle him in the water, etc.. In the mean time, I got to buy and take along a new book, and cook him delicious meals while reading in the shade. :-) A definite ‘win/win’ sceniero!

  11. I always get hungry just looking at the thumbnail pics! The recipe I’m posting today would be a great “side” for something grilled … or for a day when you’re staining your deck. :)

I love Tasty Tuesdays! I am going to go back and check out the grilling recipes. Unfortunately our grill is broken right now… but we do have a small camping charcoal grill (which we have been using, because ’tis the season for grilling!).
