Guess what I have been working on this week?
Yes, my new Ten Minute Dinners site is finally coming along. You can follow along at the facebook page, so you’ll know when it launches. It’s quiet now, but not for long. My goal is to launch it by our Becoming Conference, since one of my sessions will be Conquering Meal Time Mountains with 10 Minute, $10 Dinners (& less.)
Since I can’t divide myself into more places than I am already, I will be hiring recipe and meal planning writers for the new site, along with accepting guest DIY posters for Balancing Beauty and Bedlam. If you love to share quick and easy family meals (with ten minutes prep time), and are able to capture nice food photography, or have a knack for educating others in their meal planning, this might be something for you. You do not have to be a blogger, but well versed in reading food blogs. I will be giving more details, which will include a sample Ten Minute Dinner food post as part of the application process, and would love to know your interest.
Becoming Conference: There are still tickets available for the Becoming Weekend, so if you’ve debated about joining us, we’d love to have you. For only around $80 (depending on your accommodations), you can have the best of girl weekends. This covers lodging, meals, ticket and fun free goodies (practically worth the ticket price alone.) Yes, we have stayed committed to keeping the price super low so everyone can attend, and since I have a sneak peak into the time away, you will love every minute of it.
For my Tasty Tuesday recipe inspiration, I’d love for you to read about my history of using Almond Milk. Yes, I made it way back when I was looking for healthy alternatives to guzzling so many gallons of dairy. I have “fond” memories of running it through the cheese cloth. 😉
Yesterday was another hot day here in NC, so look at what I whipped up just to treat myself. My Berry Banana Almond Smoothie was so refreshing (and really, a bunch of pineapple was thrown in too, but the title was already a bit long. :)) Please check out that post and leave a comment to be entered to win a Silk Summer Entertaining Prize Package.
I know you have all been busy whipping up some amazing meal time inspiration and I can’t wait to see what it is.
Please remember to link back to your recipe url, as well as link to beautyandbedlam.com in your post. Limit links to two, and please avoid linking to your own giveaways or link parties.
Can you believe summer is coming to a close? UGH! I want the calendar to stop today.
I’m ready for school to be back in session. I think we are the last ones to go back the day after Labor Day. As it should be in my opinion…
Thanks for hosting. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer.
How exciting! I’m eager to hear more about your hiring process since I’m well-versed in teaching others about meal planning and all of my own family’s meals are quick & simple, too!
Looking forward to your new site featuring 10 minute dinners!
Woohoo! Can’t wait to see the new site! Just in time for the new school year, too, ’cause I’m sure you were thinking of the crazy days ahead in September. 😉
Would love to do some guest writing for you! Let me know how to apply.
Looking forward to your new site! Thanks for hosting. 🙂
