I can hardly believe that we’ve reached another year of bringing a dream to reality.  As much as we all love a good blog read, I want to share life with you in person.  I want to laugh, celebrate, and invite you all to my front porch for a cup of coffee because we all know that real life is so much better than on-line.

While I love my dream porch, (you can read about it here), we’d be a bit smooshed attempting to have coffee and sweet tea together, so a little over three years ago, I approached my good friend, Jenny from Southern Savers about hosting a time where we could all get together.

Yes, you, your best girls friends…all of us together.  We saw our dream come true in the form of our Becoming Conference , a weekend designed to encourage women to become more intentional in all aspect of life. To take the mundane of every day and make them magical.

We’ve now had the privilege of sharing our love of all things creative, purposeful and frugal with thousands women from around the US, and it’s a joy to have met so many of you, let alone just have a blast together all weekend.

This August is for YOU!

A weekend for YOU to be encouraged and refreshed.

Whether you are a blogger, blog reader or just heard about our weekend from a friend, we’d love for you to join us this August 8 and 9th, for our fourth annual event.

Becoming Conference 2014

Kick back and relax in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC.

It’s the perfect girls get away weekend, and you will leave refreshed and encouraged on so many levels.

One of the most fun parts of watching this weekend evolve every year is the fact it’s becoming an annual tradition for girlfriends, mothers/daughters, and even for some of you who just want a weekend away – by themselves.

Our desire is that all women can attend, and that is why we offer the conference, hotel, three meals and lots of goodies for under $100 (if sharing room with friends.) Check out all the details at www.becomingconf.com and follow along on the facebook page for updates.

It’s a joy to host this and an honor to see the enthusiasm and excitement for those who have attended in the past.

With that being said, I’m excited to let you know that registration is open.

I understand that with all this crazy, winter weather, August seems very far away, but we wanted to give you plenty of advanced notice. With so many returning attendees who are spreading the word, we want you to know that tickets and room options are on a first come, first serve basis. There is no deadline to sign up, but the hotel rooms on the conference site are limited and selling out quickly.

You can head on over to our Becoming Conference site, to get all the specific details for registration, along with the room rates and breakdown. Those prices include EVERYTHING!

The agenda posted is from 2013. You will see there’s a little something for everyone, and you can choose any combination of sessions and workshops that you want to attend, but be prepared to laugh because we have my friend, Kelly Swanson, coming and she is about the funniest person I know. (There’s nothing like a great belly laugh.)

Since summer is still many months away, we do not have the final agenda posted, but you can check out all the details of what we offered last year to give you a feel for our time away. We will be bringing you the same kind of amazing content, with some returning speakers, plus new ones. Once all the details are finalized, the updated agenda will be posted.

Becoming Conference speaker

Karianne from Thistlewood Farms and Rhoda from Southern Hospitality will be encouraging us in all things home decor. Ruth and Edie will be returning, along with sweet Paige. You are in for a treat, for sure!

So mark August 8, 9 on your calendar.

I guarantee, it’s a weekend you do not want to miss. Grab some girlfriends and come join us!!

I can’t wait to rock on that big front porch with you all. 🙂
