For years, long before people had heard the term “Extreme Couponing,” I’ve been sharing Grocery Guru shopping and meal planning tips here on the blog and as part of my frugal living workshops. As food prices continue to soar, and we all desire to get more creative in the kitchen, more and more people are looking for ways to save time and money in the kitchen. I always enjoy sharing some of the things that have worked for me over the years and now I will be doing that more frequently.
I’m excited to partner with Savings.com this year to kick off some Savings Nation classes throughout my area, focusing specifically on saving time and money in the kitchen. (This is a condensed version of my “Living an 80% off Lifestyle” Frugal Living workshop.)
My first class is this Saturday, May 5 and I invite anyone near by to come join us.
I’d love to meet you. It’s just so much better in real life than chatting in the comments, and I guarantee that we will be inspired to Balance Meal Time Mountain together. Let me know if you think you can make it. You won’t be disappointed.
If you are within driving distance, I would love to come to you. If you are interesting in hosting a Saving Nations Meal Planning & Coupon Class, fill out my info form.

As I continue to work on recipes and cooking for my new Ten Minute Dinner site, I am constantly referring to all my favorite cookbooks, many of which come from Taste of Home.
Well, in my opinion, you can never have to many books, and beginning today, one of my favorite book sales of the year started. Purchase select cookbooks, gardening, home and children’s books for only $5 while supplies last!
I can’t wait to browse some of your amazing Tasty Tuesday recipe inspiration today.
(Please remember to link to your direct blog post, link back to me in the post, and limit yourself to two recipes. Please don’t link up your own recipe carnival. )
Hey Jen!
I would love to come to your class this Saturday in Mayodan. Where to I register for the class or do I just show up and bring $10?
Blessings-Claire Tippens
Claire – typically I have Event brite registration, but for this one, just come on out and pay at the door. Glad to have you.
Is California within driving distance?! LOL! 🙂 Wish I could attend one with you, but I know all that do attend will be greatly blessed! And thanks as always for hosting Tasty Tuesday!
If I lived nearer, I would definitely attend, but it’s a bit of a long trip from the UK! Good luck with the Savings Nation classes. I am sure they will be incredibly popular!
Thank you for hosting the linky. This week I have shared the Easiest Ever Red Velvet Cake.
Thank you for hosting, Jen!! 🙂
Jen, I am so glad I found your website on (in)courage! Count me as subscribed. Lots of wonderful things I can use here and share with others.
Thank you!

Hi Jen. Love the Savings Nation Workshop, sounds very interesting. I’m in Fayetteville, NC. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend this week-end. Hope you’ll be hosting others in the area in the near future. I do try to save as much as possible at the grocery store by taking advantage of Food Lion’s red label meat markdowns and excessive couponing at Harris Teeter’s triple coupon day once a month. Thanks for hosting this wonderful linky party. Have a great week-end.
Carla – If you have a host place, I would love to come to Fayetteville. 🙂 Just let me know.
