One of the blessings of this whole world of blogging has been meeting some really amazing women. I thought I would highlight some old and new friends today, and share some of their posts.
My sweet friend, Amy, is getting ready for the birth of their fourth child, and has been dedicating many posts to “Why didn’t anyone tell me?” – things related to having ones first child. In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, she has approached this topic with grace, encouragement and shares a wealth of information. She also tackled Unmedicated Childbirth – Our Choice. Lots of interaction occurred in the comments of that post.

Lynne, from Lynne’s Kitchen Adventures, gave me a great reminder that I should Grill my Tomatoes.

It’s that time of the year when I am cleaning out hundreds of broken crayons, and I hate throwing them away. Briana with Bargain Briana did a great “how to” post on How to Recycle Crayon Pieces into New Crayons! Such a fun activity to do with the kids.
Jennie at Bargain Blessings shared a $10 off $30 coupon at Cost Plus World Market. You know I LOVE coffee, and had never heard of this deal. Jennie found an amazing scenario where you can get six 12-ounce bags of coffee for $3.24 per bag. Hot stuff!
Julia from Bargain Babe, wrote on Back to College Money Savers! Not only was my friend the featured blogger in BHG last month, but she shares great tips, and her readers chimed in as well.
(Complete Tangent…For so long, I wanted somehow to get the word “budget” in my blog title…Balancing Beauty, Bedlam and the BUDGET, but I knew it was too long of a tongue twister. Did you notice above  my three budget named blogging buds? I had to chuckle. 🙂
If you’ve fanned me on Facebook, you know I shared about my great deals on peaches this week. I am stocking up and Nicki from Coupon Cookin shares some creative uses for peaches. She shares how make fruit leather and Peach Freezer Jam.
Kacy at Valuing Today has teamed with her husband to teach us how to make an Easy Hawaiian Macaroni Salad in their two minute video. Love that they took on some vlogging to share.
Enjoy your weekend. I am sure am enjoying mine in the midst of my baking and bulk cooking. 🙂
