It’s only a few days before Mother’s Day, and I am still thinking through some last minute gift ideas for mom. I know many of you wish that your husband and children would read this post, so strategically leave your computer screen open tonight when they walk by, and pretend you are in the bathroom cleaning or something. 🙂 Otherwise, these are all meaningful ideas to implement for grandma or other special mother figures in your life. It’s about building a continued legacy, which I love.
The highlight of last year’s special day was my Free Mother’s Day Coupon Book. Click on over to grab it.
If you are in the mood to do a homemade mother’s day gift idea, check out this easy, but very meaningful “Through the Generations” photo card – both frugal and fabulous.
Create a sweet treat with either a box mix or homemade recipe, and surprise mom with this very special Mother’s Day Cake. She won’t believe the surprises hiding inside.
One of the wonderful features of my new blog redesign is the drop down menu. I have lots of holiday tradition and celebration ideas hidden in past posts, and slowly I am categorizing them so this can be your “one stop” resource for meaningful family ideas. To see more Mother’s Day ideas and traditions, follow the drop down menu at the top of my blog. It will look like this.
Have a blessed time this weekend celebrating the very special women in your life.
I can’t get to your holidays screen. I’m not sure if it is a problem with my computer, or if it is an issue in internet explorer, but when I mouse over your drop down for “FAITH & FAMILY” the boxes that show up are messed up where they overlap the text/links behind them. I can click on the first 3 if I move very slowly and carefully, but after that I cannot click on any of the links.
Anyway, I do love the coupon book! I Just wanted to let you know about the link issue I’m having… just in case someone else is too!
@Kristi Griggs, I’ll check into it. I know my designer said it could be an IE issue since it’s known to ignore the layering of elements.
Thanks so much for letting me know.
@Kristi Griggs, my amazing designer is so quick. She fixed the problem for IE, so you should be all set now. 🙂
Love the new look of your site. The posts are great and the new look is inspiring. I wish mine looked this good.
So excited about the redesign to include the holiday ideas… those are some of my favorite posts of yours! Thanks for sharing your life with us! It is encouraging to see how God uses you in your role as a mom through the beauty and the bedlam moments!
Thanks for fixing the drop down menu problem. It wasn’t working for me either. Nice new look!
