Our annual picture at Mast General Store 2011, Boone, NC (old fashioned root beer ;))

What started as a simply fabulous Frugal Fashionista style day, where I worked the scarf, loved the sweater dress look, which paired over leggings, and then pulled together perfectly with my $1 thrift store belt, was quite mountain top trendy.
But suddenly, as the sun set, it all went array.
Temperatures dropped, and the wagon took us higher and higher up the mountain.

So I did Gander Mountain Proud, and I rocked my son’s $4 clearance hat. I added to my long sweater look a white ski jacket for a full ensemble.

Because often, fashion is all in the attitude.
If you think it works, everyone around you just might agree.
And if you can truly amuse your children with your wondrous fashion prowess, you’ve had a successful day, and given them a few good laughs.
Because truly, don’t you all want to follow in my footsteps of this ultimate Frugal Fashionista outfit?

Yes, just a small bedlam moment I thought I’d share. 🙂
Not to be tried at home!
