I would guess that doesn't apply to face washing :) I am sure you will find a creative way to keep clean. I can't wait to follow your adventure!

I am keeping your family in my prayers! All this will just be part of a wonderful story of how God added this new person to your family. We adopted two children from Russia, and there were many trying and stressful moments that now seem funny. They are such an amazing part of our family. I am so excited for you guys!

My husband was coming home from Afghanistan and I was coming back from the Susan G Koman 3-Day walk in Boston. We were planning on meeting in the airport and leaving the kids with my mom for a couple extra days. I was delayed in JFK (not the best airport for delays) and was on the verge of upset but not quite there. Until my phone rang three different times within two minutes - my husband was delayed in Dubai and had emailed everyone we knew trying to get someone to get me a message.

After that, I was fine. The ticket agent eventually was able to get me to Atlanta, where I spent the night and met my husband at his gate. He was so surprised to see me there, thinking I'd spent the night in Pittsburgh at our hotel.

The ticket agent found us seats next to each other and we flew to Pittsburgh holding hands.

(And this might have as well been a blog post on its own!)

Glad you made it safely. :-)
