  40. My hubby and I exercise for at least one hour 6 mornings a week – on the 7th we usually go for a long walk. We also go for about a 2 mile walk after dinner each evening, weather permitting. We’ve made being active a part of our life, so it’s really just become a habit – we never think should we exercise? It’s just like brushing our teeth we just get up, do it, and then get on with our day! And after working indoors all day a walk in the evening is very nice! But, we are much less busy than many people – no kiddos to keep us running around to dozens of activities!

    I’ve actually started using streaming exercise videos from Netflix to help with my workout. Most of them are too advanced for my out of shapeness, but I found a couple that are “pick-your-level” types, and its pretty easy to keep up. The only problem, is like all exercise, it means nothing if you don’t do it CONSISTENTLY.

    I LOVE that it will keep track of calories burned. I am trying to lose weight and I ride my stationary bike 5 days of the week, but I don’t think the bike is accurate in the number of calories it says I burn, so it is hard to be sure I am counting it correctly when figuring what I eat versus what I burn.
