The laughter came from thinking of my daughter asking from the time she was old enough to talk, "who gave this to me or what funny store did you buy this at?" She knew mommy didn't buy things in the same stores as other mommys did, so she called our thrift stores, funny stores. She would ask why we didn't buy our clothes at stores like other people did. I would tell her that we were really, really smart and saved lots of money by buying them at our funny store and from other people. To this day, she owns very few items bought from the "real" store. Because of the generosity of some Craig's List friends, and picking up my thrift store and yard sale treasures, she and I can dress in ways that we could only dream of, if we didn't get them at such great, cheap prices. I would not give anything for me finding these places and people to shop with. I will have to send a picture of one of her "Fashionista" outfits with prices, so you can see that my family is a 100% "Frugal Fashionista" family!
