I know this feeling.I am a “put everything back & stop messing the house” kinda Mom.Thanks for sharing and heloing us reflect on this.Home is a haven for our babies,because it only takes the blink of an eye for everything to change.

Cute pictures! It looks like so much fun. I remember the good times my sister and I had building forts when we were little and hope my two start to enjoy doing so soon. The bad news for them is our couch cushions don’t come off! They are directly attached to the couch, isn’t that weird? We didn’t realize it when we bought the couch and not being able to make forts might have factored in to the purchase!

My kids built a fort several years ago that WAS a disaster!! They thought it was a good idea to secure one corner of a blanket underneath a 5 gallon fish tank. One of them “accidentally” stood up inside the fort, which pulled on the blanket and sent the fish tank crashing to the floor. The mess was awful and the fish didn’t make it. It wasn’t funny then, but I sure am laughing now thinking about it. I still let them make forts, but I suggest better ideas for how to secure the blankets!
