Finding Fellowship in Unique Forms…(in)courage

Sep26

This challenge to choose 30 Days of Healthy Living has been difficult, but I’m sharing over at (in)courage today the impact that these two short weeks have had on me by those of you who have banded together so uniquely.

Here’s a snippet…

It’s it exciting to observe how  the Lord creatively allows diverse avenues to bring women together? Who would have thought that such a unique sense of community could occur through exercise, and not just a regular exercise class, but one where the accountability occurs on line?

Hebrew 12:11 reminds us that “No discipline is pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. “

Even if you’re not one bit religious, nor have ever read the Bible, every one of us can see the truth in that verse above. That is why years ago, I committed it to memory.

  1. thank you so much for sharing this exercise challenge! i can not tell you how timely and inspiring it is to me. i’ve been so discouraged lately regarding my weight and know that i need to exercise and watch my eating…your blog was the “kick” that i needed!! i’d LOVE some accountability along the way, so if you know of anyone who’d like to do that, let me know!!

  2. Thank you for sharing this at incourage… I will be joining in belatedly – it’s time I get this body moving! I will be starting off with the Biggest Loser 30 day jump start DVD and then moving to the shred…. I need to start off a bit smaller so it will become a change I can keep up with!
