Over the past few years, I have become an expert in frugal online shopping. I’ve done a complete swing from one who always liked to shop in person. I just couldn’t get away from the huge savings that is to be had by shopping online, especially during the holidays.
With my discovery of tagging teaming my favorite online shopping duos of Ebates and Vitacost.com, I’ve saved hundreds.
Most of us are slowly being educated in all the great online deals, but what many don’t know is that you can save IN ADDITION to what the brands offer. By pairing their deals with Ebates, you can also earn cash back from E-bates on most of your online purchases. You should not shop online without checking to see the benefits.
In fact, Ebates will be Doubling Cash Back at 20 stores, including Walmart, Kohl’s, Sears, Nordstrom, Bath and Body Works, and many more. In addition, Ebates will be Doubling Cash Back at 500 stores during Black Friday!
For instance, when I first discovered one of my favorite online savings – Vitacost.com where I save on many of my health, whole foods and supplement products, I signed up for my free $10 credit fromVitacost first, but then I paired that $10 free cash by shopping Vitacost through Ebates for an additional 4% cash back.
Every quarter I get a check back from Ebates, no requirements, and you can enjoy the cheapest prices on-line as well as get a nice check. Plus, if you are new to Ebates, you get to choose an additional $10 Gift Card just for registering. I choose Home Depot because of all the many DIY projects I have going on.

Many weeks, Ebates offer double cash back, so I watch that closely for the brands that I shop at most.

Every once in a while, I forget to go thru them & I want to kick myself but when I do, it tickles me to pieces , knowing Im getting an addition % off. I just used my Ebates balance on Amazon last week which was really awesome. I’d never done that before.

I stumbled upon eBates on a blog that was sharing advice about how to make extra cash online. I have been hooked ever since. I personally have made over $100 in just a year. It really is that easy. As for the $100, I would put in my (empty) savings account where I get 1% interest. Then I can be more motivated to save some extra cash!
