Hi,

I just found your site through Money Saving Mom’s site. I love it…the thrift store fashions are awesome! I have my favorite thrift stores near me but tend do much better on finding things for the kids and my home than I find for myself.
I’m in NC also in the Charlotte area.
I’m signing up to subscribe!

I am having the same problem as Tonya. I use Google Reader. I wanted you to know in case it is an issue with others. I have missed all your posts since the first time I went to the new address b/c I thought you were registered in my reader.

Great article on scarves-I just bought two!
One problem – I can only view the older pictures on this post. All other picture boxes are blank with an X.

Waaaaaah!

Love your website. Now I really love my Goodwill, although I wish our GW’s prices were as low as yours. (Although, my husband does not want me telling people that I shop there!) If people subscribe to your website via email are the emails kept private and not sold. Just trying to keep unwanted advertisements, spam, etc. out. If yes, this would be a nice tidbit to put somewhere on your website. If it’s already there, sorry, I didn’t find it.
Thanks!

Jen,

I recognize you from Westover. I enjoyed reading your blog. Last December, I too launched my blog as a result of pastor Don’s call in January, 2009 to “Simple Obedience.” I thought you might enjoy taking a look at my blog , “The Garden of My Heart” and sharing it with your readers. I hope to meet you in person some Sunday! Keep up your wonderful posts.

Hi Jenn,
I was looking on your site yesterday and I came across a yummy looking cheesy, casserol. Now I’m having trouble finding it? Is it still here somewhere?

Hey, there!

I just wanted to get your “Dream spaghetti” recipe from the C.O.S.T. post. I love the idea of cooking once for several meals.

Thanks!

Allison

I’ve been reading your blog for several months now, and I wanted to let you know, ever since I saw that goat on your porch swing announcing “Bedlam Moments” I knew this was the blog for me! I check in frequently and enjoy all your ideas, your energy, your love for your kids, and your willingness to welcome in a little bedlam! Thanks for brightening my day!

This is the link to an blog created by a woman about my age who enjoys thrifting. I still go back and reread all your fashion posts. Thanks for all your work on your blog…love it! http://thriftystyleatsixty.blogspot.com/

Jane – I am probably late on this because I think you probably already did something with it. :) If you weren’t ready to make it yet, I would just marinate it right in the freezer bag and stick it in the freezer. Then, when you’re ready to use it, it’s all set. Depending on how big it is, once you cook it up, then you can slice some for your immediate meal, maybe served with rice and then baggie up the other for some beef burritos later in the week or sandwiches.

Love your April 3oth. blog. I lost my job in August 2009. Began looking that day and have had just 3 interviews. Survival seems so hard at this point. I never imagined that I would still be jobless. Your words have helped. Thank you.
